Info
All of my hacks will start you at the first battle of the story, in Gariland
Magic City. They're all in DexDrive format, allowing those with a DexDrive to
actually play them on their PlayStation.
Cloud & Elmdor
OK, I can't really take any credit here, as all I did was combine Sl1me's Cloud
hack with DK's Elmdor hack. Anyway, this hack will add Cloud as a Level 1
Soldier and Elmdor as a Level 1 Arc Knight. Cloud comes with his Materia Blade
so that he can do his Limit Breaks. Elmdor comes with his Masamune, and a full
set of Genji armor. While this make him more powerful (300+ HP!) than the rest
of your party, it also stays true to the powerhouse that Elmdor is. It does
have a limit, however: Elmdor can't do his special Arc Knight attacks with
Masamune equipped. Finally, in the Battle Formation and non-battle Formation
screens, Elmdor uses Ramza's sprite. At first glance, it will look like you
have 2 Ramza's in your party.
Cloud, Elmdor, and Alma
This is the same as the Cloud & Elmdor hack above, except that Alma has been
added to the party as well. She's a Level 1 Cleric, with an interesting glitch:
She's always invisible. It was either that, or have her start every battle dead,
but with full HP...
Cloud, Elmdor, and Teta
Again, this is the same as the Cloud & Elmdor hack, except that Teta has been
added to the party as well. She's a Level 1 Delita's Sis. However, she will
always start a battle dead, but with full HP. I haven't figured out how to make
her start not dead. You will have a countdown timer of 3 to finish the battle,
or she'll be gone forever. With Elmdor & Cloud, however, it's not too hard to
finish it, as long as you have characters that can't do anything just wait, or
move & wait. Also, her sprite in the Battle Formation, and non-battle Formation
screens is some pig-tailed girl...
Olan
This hack replaces the first Squire in the party with Olan. He starts as a
Level 1 Astronomer. No speical items, and it seems to randomly determine what
skills he has learned. When I first hacked him into the game, he only had
Accumulate. The 2nd time, he had Galaxy Stop. I think it may have something
to do with which character you turn into Olan...
Other Hacks
I've tried to hack Simon into the game, but so far, I've had no success. No
matter what class I make him, after the first battle, it says he's a Bishop,
with the class mastered. However, there are no skills listed, so he gains
nothing from it. He also can't equip anything while a Bishop...
I don't know if DK plans on making his hacks available to the public, but I've
seen screen shots where he's hacked it allowing you to play Delita as the King,
and Ajora. The Ajora hack uses the big-ass final boss sprite on the battle
field!
