As I have already said I am from Gainesville and have lived here my whole life. I began my education at Glen Springs Elementary School. From there I went on to Howard Bishop Middle School where I began to play the flute. After an extravagent middle school graduation at Citizen's Field (the county football field) I attended Gainesville High School. I played in the marching, symphonic and jazz bands there. In addition to playing my flute I also learned to play piccolo and alto sax (which I played in jazz band). While at GHS I was a member of the National Honor Society, Omega Interact service club, the Alachua County Youth Orchestra, the All-County band and last year the All-State band. I now attend the University of Florida.
My dad is a huge gator fan and has driven me around and taken me to places on campus for as long as I can remember. Maybe that is why I have always wanted to come here, or maybe it's because those little orange and blue men from the spaceship told me to go here (whoops, I wasn't supposed to tell). Either way I am very happy to be here.

While there are many things that interest me, I would have to say my main interests are: watching television and going to the movies. To me this says two things about myself - I am either really lazy or I really enjoy and want to work in the movie/television industry. While I agree with the first I would have to choose the second reason. I would really like to direct if at all possible. My goal is to win a major award, i.e. an Oscar or an Emmy or a Golden Globe. Some movies I recommend:
Titanic, Contact, Good Will Hunting, Waterworld, 12 Monkeys, The 5th Element, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, Mary Poppins, Multiplicity, The Crow, Devil's Advocate, A Christmas Story, Austin Powers, Schindler's List, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, A Nightmare on Elm Street series (for a good laugh), The Exorcist, Poltergeist, Soapdish, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Never Ending Story, The Princess  Bride, **Parenthood, The Parent Trap, The Abyss, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, All of the Stars Wars movies, Romeo and Juliet (new and old versions), Star Trek- First Contact, Face/Off, Nothing To Lose, It's A Wonderful Life
*Favorite movies are bold and  in blue
** My mom has a cameo - she is two seats to the left of Steve Martin in the graduation scene which was shot at UF
