Jesse married Nancy Ann CRAWFORD, born about 1740, about 1761 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. The youngest of their eleven children, William Jack OWEN, was born about 1786. William married Sally MARSHALL, born about 1790, on 28 October 1812 in Prince Edward County. The sixth child of William and Sally, Henry Thweat OWEN, was born 28 July 1831. Henry married Harriet Adelina ROBERTSON. Their son, Mitchell M. OWEN, was born 19 March 1856. He married Lena Ashton MARTIN about 1884 in Virginia. Their second child, Ruth Collier OWEN was born 27 August 1886 in North Carolina. Ruth married William Tell WATKINS 24 December 1903 in Dade City, Florida and connected our OWEN line to our WATKINS line.

            Now back to Jemima. She married John De Jarnette, born 28 June 1748, on 12 January 1769 in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Pheobe De Jarnette, born about 1778, was one of their six children. Pheobe De Jarnette married James WATKINS about 1791and also tied our OWEN line, through De Jarnette, to our WATKINS line.
