A shorter ground instruction time went by and we were out to the aircraft quickly. I performed the preflight inspection with Paul at my side. We stated our intentions and were cleared to taxi. At the run-up, more of the checklist was covered, and alerted the tower we were ready for take-off. Cleared for take-off, we lined up with the center line and were off. At 55 knots, float in the ground effect. At 67 knots, climb out and clear the airport.

Today, we practiced level flight, smooth motions, easy turns, and consistency. It was a quite relaxing lesson.

We did a touch-and-go and then a landing. Both were smooth; and while I didn't perform either one of them in there totality, I was credited with them in my flight record book.
