Thomas Hansen (Oregon, USA). 
The story begins when Tom, an American (Norwegian by roots), took a vacation in Bergen one summer in 1967 to visit his dad's hometown.  He then first met his wife. Two years later Tom settled down in Norway and has been here since then. He has been with the church since the founding by Pastor Randy Dodd (from Georgia).  He is active in several American and Norwegian-Americanc clubs and committees. 

Anne-Marie Ytterhorn (Bergen,Norway). 
Anne-Marie joined TVNorge(TV2) as a producer in Oslo after completing bible college in the USA and graduatingfrom the University of Oslo.  Born a "Viking", but she loves languages,and hope to be fluent in 5, one day. She chaired the Teen Camp for summer 1997, a big hit for the teens.  She has been with the church since1987. 

The Williams Family (Florida,USA). 
The Williams work in the US Embassy in Norway.  They are actively involved with the church and of course the joy of our Nursery is in their care. 

The Twin Sisters (Lithuania). 
Jurate after completing her bible college in Norway, decided to stay on and work.  Her identical twin sister Dalia joined her this year. I assure you, it's hard to miss them, when there are two. 

Abiel Jørstad (NewJersey, USA). 
Born in New Jersey, Abiel moved to Norway at the age of 13.  She is now in her last year of nursing school.  She joined the church in the fall 1995 after finding out about it through a missions conference at Word of Life Bible Institute in New York the same year.  "I wanted to attend an International Church with the same doctrinal beliefs that I had and I quickly realized that IBC was where God wanted me to be when I came back to Norway". 
 
Ed and Gerd-Hanne (France/Norway). 
Yes, I got it right, Ed was born in France.  Ed 1st met Gerd-Hanne in college (the library scenario) 1985 in Washington.    They were married a few years later and moved to Norway.  Ed works for PGS and is also working on his Master's degree in Theology.    Gerd- Hanne works for the United Nations and is very actively involve with our music ministry. 

Ernest Asante (Kumasi,Ghana). 
Ernest arrived in Oslo NewYear's eve of 1992.  He studies Human Geography at the University of Oslo.  During the interview, I asked him what was one memorable experience in Norway.  He told me, "it was the day at the Singles Retreat, he had jumped into the ice cold lake  and realized he could not swim".  Thanks to Martin, all was fine.  Ernest is another "sound engineer" in the church providing us with his technical expertise. 
 

The LatourFamily (Quebec, Canada). 
The Latour Family relocated to Norway July 1995 working in a major Petroleum and Agriculture firm better known as Norsk Hydro.  With 2 kids it was important to look for a good house, school and church to ensure a complete life integration in a new social/cultural environment and growing spiritual life.  The family has been very active in church, hosting the famous "Seven Laws of Teachings" on Sunday evenings where aspiring teachers attend.

The Martin Family (England). 
The Martins work at the Biotechnology Centre at the University of Oslo and have been with the church the last 2 years.   The Martins are great hosts for the singles on Sundays where lunch can be a great time of fellowship. Since arriving in Norway their family has continued to expand rapidly.. 

Beth Dilday (Texas, USA). 
Coke it is!  Beth was an active member in the church and assist in the nursery as well as the Teen's  bible study.  Beth works for Coke Cola Inc. She now lives in Texas 

Derry and Nils (So. Calif.,USA / Trondhein, Norway). 
Derry met Nils on a school exchange program in the summer of 1964 in Norway.  They were married four years later and have lived in  various places in the USA including Alaska and once in Scotland.  They moved back to Norway in 1984 and have been with the church the last 3 years.  Derry is one of our pianist sand sometimes plays organ. 

Tone Andresen (Oslo, Norway). 
Tone came to IBC in 1995,and has contributed in many ways to the church.  She is the "sound engineer" during Sunday services and also a Junior Church teacher. 

Leonard Yong (Singapore). 
Working for an International Consulting firm had brought Leonard to Norway for a year.  "This is the best year of my life".  Being home away from home had brought him to look for a home church and he found IBC in Norway.
