Mission Statement
The Alachua County Tobacco-Free
Partnership is a proactive group of concerned citizens who create awareness
about tobacco issues, support tobacco control legislation and take initiative
in making our community a healthy place in which to reside.
Purpose
Reduce the number of youth in Alachua County who use tobacco.
Reduce the number of Alachua County Residents who currently
use tobacco.
Increase public awareness of tobacco-related issues concerning
health, state legislation and local policies.
Support tobacco control legislation.
Educate governmental officials about key tobacco control legislation.
