ROBIN HOOD

This contemporary look at the legend of "Robin Hood" overlays the daydreams and nightmares of growing up this year, here in this place...

Robin Hood knows no fear.

Robin Hood knows no girls!

... with a dreamed-up Sherwood Forest, an idyllic place where "you never have to take a bath." The majority of the story unfolds as a dream sequence that affords us a rare glimpse inside the imagination of an adolescent boy. We may never be the same. Dragging his little sister, his best friend and his Grandmother's bridge club into the dream, Robin battles injustice, engages in sword play, storms the castle and protects the honor of the fair Maid Marian - and that's all before breakfast! Everyone pitches in to save the day and to reaffirm the power of dreaming. Dreams become real but then reality must be lived through -- so, "Don't tell dad about the tights. o.k.? He wouldn't understand." We understand... Score includes blues, techno, tango, rap, country, ballads, medieval and classic Broadway style numbers.
