Biography of Rance O. Braley
Rance Braley was born December 15, 1951 in Tucson, Arizona.
He first became interested in history after his brother and he
found arrowheads in an orange grove across the street from their
home in Grand Island, Florida. Rance and his wife, Linda, married
in 1973 and lived in and around Gainesville since that time. Rance
and his family moved to Archer in 1986 while he was studying for
his Master's and Specialist's degrees in Counseling. They have
four children - Joshua, Brenna, John, and Sara. The family enjoys
living in Archer and finds it a refreshing change from the
highspeed, impersonalized lifestyle of a larger city.
