Ultimate Songs of 1982
These are some of the songs that we were dancing to, talking about, and singing along with in 1982.  They were released and/or hit the pop charts in that year.  While you will see many top hits, they are not all well known, and a few never even made a mark on the U.S. pop charts.

You may find the list helpful in reunion planning, trivia games, or simply for browsing.

Just click on the song title for lyrics and for a list of compilation albums on which the song appears.

You can also get a list of all Ultimate '80s Songs sorted by artist or by song title.

A 7-CD box set of 142 songs from the 1980s was released recently. Nearly 100 of the songs in "Like, Omigod! The '80s Pop Culture Box (Totally)" are ones that we felt strongly enough about to put on this site. Another 15 songs are strong contenders to be added here. It even has all those songs you want that don't appear on the website (Mickey, Video Killed the Radio Star, Call Me, etc.) It's the most perfect eighties compilation CD that we've seen so far.
